Camp & Cabin

Camping was in the blood of these early 20th century outdoors people. Not so long before, settlers, miners, hunters and trappers had headed west out into the wilderness.

After the turn of the century, new roads penetrated far afield, allowing folks, especially those with automobiles, access to areas that remained untouched and unspoiled.

Some tented and some built cabins, but all certainly enjoyed the outings; the camaraderie, the great hunting and fishing, and after a long day, relaxing and talking around the evening campfire.
